Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine is an enigmatic musician, singer and actor. The singer combines soul gospel jazz and R&B to create a unique mixture. She has appeared on stages all over the world, from Broadway through the Democratic National Convention to the European music scene and the club scenes. Sunshine's real name is Denise White. Her birthplace is Chester Pennsylvania, where she started her musical career by singing and playing the piano in church. Her music career started in Atlanta while attending Spellman College. The Fighting Temptations The first single to feature her vocals was called Stalk You A house 12 released only in Japan It was later remixed by a variety of producers and has become the mainstay in her live show. The Fighting Temptations was the second soundtrack that she sang on. In 2005, she was the pianist in Tyler Perry's stage show Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday, who won Tony and Grammy Awards for her vocals she asked Sunshine to be part of the Dreamgirls show during Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine became the focus of notice during the four performances during the 2008 Democratic National Convention and was subsequently invited to sing at President Barack Obama's inauguration in 2009.
