Annabelle Gurwitch

Annabelle Gurwitch is an American writer, comedian and TV host best known for her role as hostess of Dinner and a Movie on TBS and activist associated with the environment and secular humanism. Annabelle Gurwitch, a New York Times best-selling author and critically acclaimed actress is the New York Times's Bestselling Author of her memoirs Whatever You're Doing, Then I'm Sure You Made An Effort I say Tomato When you say Fired, I say Shut Up and Fired. which was also part of a Showtime Comedy Special. Gurwitch was the host of Dinner & a Movie on TBS for a number of years. Television viewers will remember her appearances in programs like Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown as well as the sustainability program WA$TED which was broadcast on The Planet Green Network. She is a regular guest as a guest on PBS Newhour Real Time Bill Maher as well as on NPR. She also writes op eds to The New York Times WSJ The Hollywood Reporter. She has been recognized by the media for her performances in the theatre, appearing in The New York Times and Los Angeles Times. Annabelle shares wisdom and her hilarious story of the aging process in our youth obsessed culture.
